About Us

MPAC is a community-based organization that:

  • Creates neighborhoods of high quality, low-income, affordable and mixed-income housing

  • Supports education with local control

  • Delivers workforce training and development and other social services

  • Offers infrastructure and services that enhance the quality of life

  • Facilitates commercial investments, including a grocery store, banks, retail, and restaurants

MPAC is committed to building neighborhoods that are safe and economically sustainable with rising incomes and property values that can attract middle-income families to its high-performing schools.  These attributes are a result of a planning and implementation process coordinated across a variety of strategic partners from Federal, State, and local government, the philanthropic community, and private investors with a singular mind of neighborhood transformation.

Underserved communities have been neglected for far too long. Let's change them together.

Our Mission

Our mission is not to merely help communities survive, but to thrive; and to do so with passion, some compassion, and a commitment to serve.

Our Vision

Our vision is to initiate and provide opportunities for community residents to live in safe, affordable housing and to help develop, preserve, revitalize their communities, and help lift its residents out of poverty through homeownership as its catalyst. Through collaboration and with residents’ needs at the forefront, MPAC will connect residents to services and opportunities, and help foster great neighborhoods where people can thrive.
